Power Division

The Power Division under the Ministry of Power, Energy, and Mineral Resources (MPEMR) is responsible for ensuring a reliable, affordable, and sustainable electricity supply across Bangladesh. Over the years, it has made remarkable progress in generation, transmission, and distribution, with a focus on energy diversification through coal, gas, nuclear, and renewable sources.

To further enhance operational efficiency, transparency, and strategic decision-making, the Power Division has implemented an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This ERP integrates core business functions, enabling real-time data access, automated workflows, and regulatory compliance. It streamlines resource management, financial operations, procurement, human resource management, and performance evaluation, reducing inefficiencies and ensuring seamless coordination across departments.
